Chapter Board Director

    Just a short intro of myself. I have loved motorcycles since as far back as I can remember. When I met my husband Greg he had a BSA motorcycle and we rode many miles together.

   In 2004 I joined the HOG family. Soon after I was asked to be over the activitiesand boy was I afraid of the challenges and what that ment. I have wanted to be the Director of the HOG chapter since around 2005.

   Things happen... and I no longer was an active member. Then in 2008, I had an opportunity to be one of the three assistant director. I actually had to write a summary of why I wanted to be an assistant director and what I would do to enhance the chapter.

   I spent 2009 as one of the assistant directors then became the Director in 2010. The biggest success I feel proud about is the 2010 raffle. Selling 1000 tickets as a chapter , one successful raffle day and giving money to the Just For Kids Foundation. The 2011 Bike Raffle will be another sucess story for this chapter

   Greg and I have raised a family of Harley lovers. Our oldest daughter Sheila and her husband Jeff have their own bikes. Our granddaughters love to go to GLHD, it is right up there with Barnes & Nobles. I remember listening to crying and whinning on a Sunday when they were so disappointed that after chuch we were not on our way to the Harley shop.

    Family is very important to me. That carries into the HOG family as well. I love to ride with Greg, every ride is "the best ride ever". I hope that you will ride the ride that is the best ever.
